epoxy
i've learnt something very interesting in my composites lecture today ... his parting words if u must ...
if ever u hear of an airplane that got its wings ripped of , don't think its impossible coz they are only glued to the body .
Yes i am not kidding ... plane wings are glued to the Fuselage by a means of an industrial epoxy...
technically one of the strongest forms of adhesive to minimise weight and stress failure ... it is suppose to be 3 times stronger than steel but ...
is an adhesive none the less which means that it has a solvent and if by mistake they meet ... bye bye wings ...
but that has never happened so far
Who says i never pay attention in Uni...
oh and he added... "mayb i should not have told u guys that "...
thanks ... makes me look forward to flying back home soon !!!!
U learn something new every single day Happy flying ...
