Is there really a way to let someone down nicely???
I mean is it really possible … and if it happened to you …
can you see yourself ever looking at that person the same way again …
I mean … to you she/he is on that pedestal that raises the person above the rest …
almost feels like that person is out of your reach …
then u begin to doubt yourself … and all you can do…
by asking yourself questions like
“y would she/he be interested in me”
the possibilities are endless …
and soon it seeps into your daily life …
and all u can do is think abt this person…
and how much u want to be with this person …

and how all u want is a chance …
then it becomes so obvious to everybody else
and soon even to this person u admire…
and if the feeling is mutual .. great

But if it is not then
How do you tell someone that they are not the one you want…
That all u can be is platonic …
That no matter how much they so longed to be in that special place in your heart, you just can’t see them there…
That all their advances were useless.
That when you say things … it was not meant for them…
That when you say something you didn't mean it THAT way
That you long to be somewhere else.
That all your promises were said just because you thought it was what they wanted to hear.
That the light around this person is the same as everybody else if not dimmer…
That all u want to be is a friend coz you are just not good enough for this person (nice words hurt the most)
That no matter what this person it does for u … won’t change who they are.
Its not you … its me…
That you just can't see them that in way
That you don’t want to spoil the friendship they have with you
That they are just not worth the chance...
That maybe in the next life... if they are lucky
That they just don’t see you that way …
