Trying to keep it open
officially i left adelaide on the 17th of aug 2007. Had a lot of memories there and i still think abt it today ...all the people i met... the friends i made ... the things i did ... the life i lived ... we were on our own... no parents to lean back on... everything had to be managed on our own... and i loved it ... the freedom... the resposibility ...Go to uni, go to work, go home. handle yer finances. pay yer bills. Don't get me wrong, i did all that when i was in singapore ... but the fact that i was alone there made it feel alot more realistic.
it won't be the same when i get back to singapore.
so after adelaide ... i went to Hong kong. still here now ... good flight from adelaide to melbourne was business class and from melbourne to Hong kong was First class ... the space was amazing ... and then i got to sit in the cockpit for the landing to hongkong... that was quite a trip... (aunt was the Inflight service manager ... thats y )
humidity was getting to me ... still is. been drinking quite a bit thanks to my uncle here ... went home hammered one day. 2 btls of chevas will do that to u ...
shopping ... wit the aunt ... met a few more family friends ... then its off to china ... for a day of more shopping in the land of fake anything(yes i'm talking abt china) and ended the day by visiting the massage parlor/ spa place .. full body massage and the works... good stuff...
a few days after it was off to macau... aunt went on and hit the casinos and i drank again (kinda see a pattern here) anyways ... back to hong kong and then i got a chance to fly an Airbus. took off flew around and land a few times... (simmulator... uncle was the instructor) that was fun... and now the date to go home has been set ... and all i can think about is adelaide and all the other places in the world i wanna visit ... all the other ppl in the world i wanna see ... the cultures i wanna experience ...
damn... looks like i have to close this chapter and open a new one ... can't help but try to keep this one open.
